ILO ASIA DTY DIR MS. TOMOKO NISHIMOTO CALLS ON LABOUR ADVISER:
Karachi. 24.9.2016: The adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister for labour Senator Saeed Ghani said Pakistan People’s Party has been on the forefront of pro-labour legislation and its top most agenda and priority is to raise the socio-economic status of the working class of the country.
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) expressed interest in joint actions and joint ventures. The labour adviser appreciated the ILO and said Sindh government would facilitate the ILO for its joint actions for the labourers in Sindh.
He was talking to a delegation of the ILO led by ILO Asia chapter Deputy Director Ms. Tomoko Nishimoto, which called on the labour adviser at the central office of Social Security Institution, Saturday.
Senator Ghani having cordially welcomed the ILO delegation, briefed on priorities of Sindh government on labourers and working class of the society. The ILO delegation was also briefed on steps that the provincial government of PPP has so far taken for the welfare and upliftment of the labourers.
