PPP always promotes interfaith harmony: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that has party has always respected and promoted the interfaith harmony, every citizen of Pakistan deserves equal rights to perform their religious rituals freely and frequently.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was talking with Hindu community during his visit at Shiv Temple at Clifton Karachi on the eve of Diwali celebration.
The PPP Chairman attended Diwali rituals and other religious rites. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah,President PPP Sindh and Provincial Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Senator Sherry Rahman, Provincial Minister and President Karachi Hindu Panchayat Mukesh Chawla, Advisor to CM for Information Mola Bux Chandio,Special Assistant to CM on minorities affairs Dr. Khatumal , MNA Ramesh Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
He said that Minorities of Pakistan has played the key role in the development and prosperity of the country and fortifying the democracy.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that PPP believes that minorities are assets of the country and blooming flower in the bouquet of Pakistan. On the occasion, special prayers offered for the martyrs of Quetta police training center.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari intermingled with Hindu Community and shared the Diwali greetings.
